On Variation Characteristics of Water and Heat Conditions and Potential Analysis for Landscaping Tree Introduction in Kunming City

The water and heat conditions of Kunming city is redistributed because of its special geographic location with low latitude and high elevation. The introduction potential of ornamental tree species and limiting factors for the introduction in Kunming urban area were elaborated based on the analyses of the different characteristics of water and heat conditions and combined with practice and related experiences in tree species introduction, and the principles of ornamental tree species introduction in Kunming were put forward in consequence.
