Precision Analysis on Area Measurement by Handy GPS
The precision of area measurement by handy GPS in forest resource inventory and investigation of engineering forestation was elaborated. The measurement error and corresponding precision were calculated and analyzed by taking the known areas as research objectives. It was showed by the results that the precision of forest area measurement by handy GPS could well meet the demand of forestry production.
