The Germplasm Resource of Plant Species in Seriphidium Genus and Their Utilization

The plant species in genus of Seriphidium Poljak are important members in the natural community of Compositae family. It was recorded that there are 31 species and 3 varieties in the genus, and Xinjiang is the distribution centre of these species. The biological characteristics, chimerical composites, medicinal value and the value utilized as fodder of these species were summarized in the paper. Furthermore, some suggestions were put forward to enhance the exploitation and utilization of the germplasm resource of Seriphidium genus.
