Research on Cuttage Propagation Technique of Pinus armandii

  • A cuttage breeding experiment was done with cuttings made from different-aged maternal plants of Pinus armandii.It was showed by the results that the rooting properties of the cuttings were greatly influenced by the maturity of the propagation materials.Among vermiculite, forest soil and river sand substrates, the best rooting result was obtained by river sand.100 mg/L of IBA or 100 mg/L of IAA would be helpful to the rooting process.
