  • The distribution of Nelumbo nucifera variety and cultivar resources in Yunnan Province was investigated.The result showed that there were 21 varieties from the local area, and 17 of them were newly discovered.9 cultivars out of the investigated varieties i.e., Dian Hong, Puzhehei Honghe, Puzhehei Baihe, Xiao Sajin, Yilong Fengcai, Mile Honghe, Lincang Honghe, Yilong Baihe, Yiliang Qianban Lian were considered to be with high ornamental value.
