On Criteria for Sustainable Management of Broad-leaved Plantation in Tropical Regions in Yunnan Province(II)——System Capacity and Forest Productivity

  • Great attention has been paid to sustainable management of plantations all over the world, and the evaluation index system has become more and more reasonable and scientific. The indes system to evaluate the regional adaptability for sustainable management of the plantations composed of broad-leaved tree species in the tropical regions of Yunnan Province was discussed. The balance and stability of forest ecosystems of the broad-leaved plantations in Yunnan tropical regions at two target levels were elaborated, as well as index system for sustainable management of the plantations. The ecological threshold values for the main counties or municipalities in Yunnan Province were calculated, and two categories of evaluation indexes were discussed.
