Analysis on the Chain Benefits Brought by Tourism around Taiping Forest Park, Shaanxi Province

The systematic analyses on economic chain benefits, contribution to social employment, and related industrial engagement of the Taiping Forest Park, which is located in Shaanxi Province, were carried out based on the field investigation data collected between May and October of 2005. The result showed that the economic chain benefits brought by the Taiping Forest Park was 1.00 to 3.06, the ratio of direct employment to indirect social jobs generated by Taiping Forest Park was 1.00 to 1.71,and the industries brought by tourism around Taiping Forest Park was 1 to 6. Some problems related to the development of the park resources were pointed out on the basis of analyzing the present tourism status, and some corresponding proposals were put forward.
