Study on Sampling Technique for Over-wintering Larva of Dioryctria rubble

  • Dioryctria rubble is the major pest that damages the cones and seeds of Pinus amandii. It was determined by regressive analyses between the larva densities in different orientations and the larva densities of the sample plots that the optimal sampling orientation was the west for over-wintering larva of Dioryctria rubble. The sequential sampling equations and optimal sampling numbers were set by Iwao, Talor,m*-v and La-m regressive models. And the sequential sampling table for over-wintering larva of Dioryctria rubble was made as an example by means of La-m regression model.
