Studies on Genomic Diversity of Bacteria by rep-PCR

  • The genomic DNAs of Escherichia coli,Bacillus subtilis,Micrococcus tetragenus,Proteus vulgaris and Enterobacter aerogenes were analyzed by rep-PCR with BOX primers,and the CK experiment was carried out by adding plant genomic DNAs into the bacteria genomic DNAs.It was showed that the rep-PCR with BOX primers could identify these bacteria and the bacteria polymorphism was not interfered by plant genomic DNAs in a large range of DNA template concentration.It was also showed by the results from the gradient experiment with template quantities that the bacteria rep-PCR polymorphism was related to template concentration.
