  • The urban forest structure within 47 km2 inside the 2nd ring road of Kunming City was investigated by plot sampling combined with partial general survey to study the tree species composition, three-dimensional green quantity, value of ecological functions and the correlations among these factors. Totally, 16 145 trees mainly belonging to 164 species were investigated. Some suggestions and development countermeasures were proposed to improve the urban forest structure in Kunming City.
