Establishment of Spatial Database of Forest Resources based on WebGIS Technology

Establishing spatial database for forest resources by means of integrating the advanced network technology and GIS technology has been developed to be the inevitable trend of sustainable forest management. The process to establish the national database on forest resources and the related key technologies, as well as the problems requiring special attention while building the database were discussed in this paper.
