  • The application of 3S techniques to reform of forest ownership regime was introduced, which comprised methods for field data acquisition and forest land area survey. The geographic coordinate data collected in the field would be conversed into rectangular coordinate data, the localities and corresponding map of the studied forest areas would be drawn up by computers according to the coordinate data.
