  • Based on reviewing the advances in studies on decomposition of organochlorine pesticides in soil environment and the related accomplishments obtained both in China and abroad, the main types of organochlorine pesticides, the harmfulness, the decomposition microorganisms, decomposition enzymes and decomposition genes were summarized, and the future research orientation in the field was discussed.
