A Preliminary Report on Forest Diseases in Bailongjiang Forest Zone of Gansu Province

  • 48 kinds of forest diseases were identified out of 82 specimens collected from Bailongjiang forest zone in Gansu Province. Among them 30 kinds of diseases were newly recorded in Gansu Province, and 1 disease was newly recorded in China. It was found out that all of the diseases were distributed at elevations between 2040~2920 m. Outbreaks of these diseases mainly happened to tree species of Picea dietr, Abies spp., Salix spp., Larix spp. and Berberis spp., followed by Pinus armandii and Tsuga spp..
