Retention Mechanism of PEO/CF Two-Component Retention Systems

  • The retention effect of two-component retention systems, especially such as polyethylene oxide/cofactor (PEO/CF) two-component retention systems is better than that of one-component retention systems in paper manufacture process with non-wood raw materials. The development of retention agent was briefly introduced, the retention mechanism of PEO/CF two-component retention systems was discussed, and the future development prospect of PEO as a retention agent was discussed in this paper.
