Study on Rejuvenation Techniques for Weak Saplings of Parakmeria yunnanensis

  • The topping measure was applied to the weak Parakmeria yunnanensis saplings in the early spring. It was showed that good results could be obtained by topping the weak saplings at the height 20~30cm above the root collar which was able to avoid water sprouts and curved growth for the new stem, form good crown shape, increase ornamental value and to rejuvenate the saplings.
