Study on Planning and Restoration of Xiangjiang Riparian Vegetation Buffer Zone in C-Z-T Region

Based on the analyses of the present status of the riparian vegetation of Xiangjiang River in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan area as well as the existing landscaping and ecological problems in the riparian vegetation,the typical segments of the riverside vegetation were classified.The measures to rebuild the buffer ecotone for the riparian vegetation along the Xiangjiang River in this area were proposed according to the planning and rebuilding principles for riparian vegetation buffer zone.A forecast was also made for the ecosystem of riparian vegetation buffer ecotone that will be rebuilt.This study should provide the construction and management of riparian vegetation along the Xiangjiang River in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan area with some theoretical references.
