Study on Community Co-management of Beihai Wetland Nature Reserve in Tengchong County,Yunnan Province

Beihai Wetland Nature Reserve is situated the Beihai township in the northeast of Tengchong County,Yunnan Province.The Participatory Rural Appraisal(PRA) method was adopted to study the community co-management in the reserve area.The current status of the community co-management,challenge and the threats from adjacent communities on the nature reserve were analyzed.Then the measures for further community co-management plan were discussed in terms of the mechanism to deal with community public relations,introduction of incentive mechanism and the strengthening of self-development.
