The Influence of Asphalt Consumption on Technical Characters of Asphalt Pavement

The influence of asphalt consumption on asphalt mixture and asphalt pavement was studied by conducting Marshall test of the mixture.The results indicated that asphalt consumption obviously affected the technical characters of asphalt mixture such as high temperature stability,low-temperature crack-resisting property,skid resistance,workability and durability,and consequently impacted the usage features of asphalt pavement.The optimum asphalt consumption could alter interior structure of asphalt mixture,improve technical characters of asphalt mixture,improve usage quality of asphalt pavement,and also obtain better economic property.
