Abstract
The propagation technology and enzyme activities of indoleacetic acoxidase(IAAO),polyphenol oxidase(PPO) and peroxidase(POD) of Carica papaya were studied by orthogonal experiments design of L9(34) and by taking cuttings from one-year-old stems as experimental materials. The experiment results showed that rooting process by hard wood cuttings could be divided into three stages,i.e.,formation of callus, induction of adventitious roots and elongation of the adventitious roots. The treatment combination No.4(perlite+peat,IBA 0.5mg/g,treatment for 30 min) was the best, whose rooting rate reached 66%,higher than other treatment combinations. It showed a rule for the activity change of three rooting related enzymes, there were significant differences in the activity of the three enzymes among the varied treatments and different stages.
