Study on the Establishment Technologies for First GenerationClonal Seed Orchard of Paraserianthes falcataria

  • Through 7 years of implementation of seed orchard establishment,the first generation clonal seed orchard of Paraserianthes falcataria was established in Dianbai County,Guangdong Province,which area was 541hm2.And then summarized some key establishment technology for clonal seed orchard of Pfalcataria such as plus tree selection,grafting,establishment.The results showed that there were 87 plus clones in the orchard,and their average height, grafting caliber,crown were 290m,683cm,397m,respectively.Besides,the crown and height ratio was 168.In the orchard, the dwarfing effect of plants was obvious and the crown was umbrellatype.5056% plants reached the flowering and productive phase stage,which suggested blooming period of Pfalcataria was shorten, and orchard seed was promoted earlier.
