Estimation of Genome Sizes of Speranskia tuberculata and Speranskia cantonensis

  • Using rice (Oryza sativ) as an external standard,the genome sizes of Speranskia tuberculata and Speranskia cantonensis were determined by flow cytometry.As a result, the average genome sizes (the content of 2C DNA) of Speranskia tuberculata and Speranskia cantonensis were about (080±002) pg and (085±002)pg, respectively.
