Analysis of Carbon Emissions of Woody Biomass Feedstock Supply Chain in Fujian Province

  • This paper used the relatively common research methods to establish a quantitative calculation model to analyze the carbon emissions of different stages of feedstock supply chain in Fujian province. The results showed that embodied carbon emissions shared the lowest proportion, only 006%, while the direct and indirect carbon emissions reached 6657%, 3337%, respectively. In the process of direct carbon emissions, carbon emissions of harvesting, skidding, hauling stage accounted 236%,499%,9265%, respectively.The order of importance which affects the total carbon emissions of the feedstock supply chain was harvesting index (3796%) > timber transport distance (2342%), unit turnover fuel consumption (transport timber stage,2342%) > daily energy consuming by workers (1267%) > skidding distance (126%), unit turnover fuel consumption (skidding stage,126%).
