Research Progress on Zoige Wetland

Zoige wetland plays a vital role in regional, national and even global ecological service value because of its important geographic location. However, there are severe problems in sand area increasing, landscape fragmentation worsening and wetland services decrease. In response to these issues, correlational research and publications about Zoige wetland from 2000 to 2014 had been viewed. The result showed that since 2000, the research on Zoige has been deepened, with a diversity in research methods and the use of modern technologies, which mainly focuses on the status quo of Zoige, the cause of degradation and its restoration and reconstruction, biodiversity, wetland service value, sustainable development and use of wetland resources and historical biology research. With the analysis, the weakness in the study as the restoration and reconstruction, ecocompensation, cultural heritage especially minorities, and wetland ecological service value should be further studied afterward.
