Initial Influence on Vegetation Restoration of Sloping Wasteland under the ReverseSlope Level Terrace in the Water Resource Area of Songhua Dam

  • Reverseslope level terrace plays a role in regulating slope flow and sediment yield. To understand the dynamic condition of vegetation recovery and vegetation diversity in secondary forest of sloping wasteland under the effect of reverseslope level terrace in Kunming Songhua Dam Reservoir, the influence of reverseslope level terrace on vegetation restoration was studied in the experiment forest land. The result showed that there were 31 kinds of plants in the secondary forest of sloping wasteland, which can be divided into 15 families and 22 genera. More specifically, there are 7 families, 9 genera and 10 species of plants in shrub layer; and 10 families, 18 genera and 21 species of plants in herb layer. 32 kinds of plants were observed in the sampling plot of reverseslope level terrace, which can be divided into 15 families and 22 genera. More specifically, the number of grass family, composite family and madder family reached 14 species, accounting for 438% of the species amount. To some extent, herb layer has increased the amount of species under the influence of reverseslope level terrace, Simpson index, ShannonWiener diversity index, Pielou evenness index, and Simpson index were all higher than the sample index. Affected by the reverseslope level terrace, the trend of uneven distribution of soil moisture and nutrient increased, plants under the tendency of practice to benefit, transformed gradually from even distribution to mosaic spatial pattern.
