Bioinformatics Analysis on G Protein coupled Receptors in Colletotrichum graminicola

  • Based on three typical GPCR sequences have been reported in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, to compare and search the protein databases of Colletotrichum spp. with the Blastp as well as the use of keywords, and four typical GPCRs are identified by conserved domain analysis in the SMART online. Meanwhile, there is seven transmembrane domain and high proportion of helical structure in every GPCR protein in the secondary protein structure, which positioned in the plasma membrane and not contains significant signal peptide sequence. In addition, both Chigginsianum and Cfioriniae have a high sequence homology and close genetic relationship with Cgraminicola.
