Landscape Vulnerability Analysis of Sanya City Based on the Landscape Pattern and Ecological Sensibility

  • Based on the data of ecological sensitivity and landscape area, evaluating the landscape vulnerability in Sanya, 2015, by the Kriging Interpolation Method and the Moving Window Method. It is showed that the severely and extremely vulnerable landscape areas concentrate in northern and central part, whose main terrain are mountains and hills, accounting for 4174% of the total area, including 2847% of severely vulnerable landscape area and 1327% of extremely vulnerable landscape area. The main land use types of them are forest land at a high altitude and farmland adjacent to forest land. However, the main land use type of moderately vulnerable landscape area is large areas of forest land or farmland, accounting for 2570% of the total. The forest land or farmland, in a good growing condition, grows mainly in the plain at a low altitude. And the minor and mild vulnerable landscape areas mainly distribute in the south of Sanya city and the surroundings of villages and towns, accounting for 3256% of the total, including 1303% of minor vulnerable landscape areas, and 1952% of mild vulnerable landscape areas. The main land use types of them are construction land and farmland. With the orderly development of Sanya and of more scientific farming method, the vulnerable degree of regional landscape will maintain at a low level.
