Study on Soil Erodibility of Different Land Utilization Styles in the Songhuaba Water Source Area

  • In order to reveal the condition of the soil erodibility in Songhuaba Water Source Area in Kumming City. Using the universal soil loss equation to calculate estimated K value of soil erdibility and EPIC model was used to calculate measured K value of soil erdibility of three different land utilization styles of songhuaba water source area. To explore the correlation between the measured K value and the estimated K value and based on the measured data to revised USLE. The measured K value of soils mainly ranged from 02866 to 03427. For measured K value of three different land utilization styles, the order was as follow: wasteland > farmland slope > shrub land. The Pearson correlation of the indicators of EPIC model showed that the correlation of soil erodibility K value with silts contents was obviously positive, but which showed obviously negative with sand contents and clay contents. Correlation of K value with organic carbon content was not significant.
