Abstract
In this study, the effects of antibiotics and herbicides on the regeneration of adventitious shoots from leaves were studied in Eucalyptus grandis × E.urophylla clone SP7. Different concentrations of hygromycin, kanamycin, glyphosate and basta were added into mediums of buds regeneration and root induction individually. The results showed that hygromycin, kanamycin, glyphosate and basta had significant effects on adventitious buds regeneration and root induction of Eucalyptus grandis × E.urophylla clone SP7. The regeneration of adventitious buds from the explants were remarkably inhibited while the concentrations of hygromycin, kanamycin, glyphosate and basta in the medium were 10 mg/L, 40 mg/L, 40 mg/L and 2.5 mg/L respectively. Adding hygromycin, kanamycin, glyphosate and basta with concentrations of 8 mg/L, 50 mg/L, 30 mg/L and 7.5 mg/L respectively in mediums of root induction, adventitious roots could not induced.
