Variation Pattern of Fiber Morphology and Carbon Content in Dendrocalamus giganteus

  • This research took the Dendrocalamus giganteus as the research object, in Dehong Prefecture of Yunnan Province. It was measured the fiber morphology and carbon content of D.giganteus at different positionsand studied the correlativity. Results showed that, in the longitudinal direction of D.giganteus, the base carbon content was the highest, middle and tail carbon content was relatively low. In the radial direction, the carbon content of middle part of bamboo culm wall was relatively high, tabasheer carbon content was taken the second place. About D.giganteus, the fitting degree between radial fiber length and carbon content was high, the correlation was rather significant, and the correlation of radial fiber width, length-width ratio and carbon content was general. The correlation of longitudinal fiber length, fiber width, length-width ratio and carbon content were significantly, the fitting degree between longitudinal fiber length and carbon content was the highest.
