The Influence of Fertilizatation on Spikes and Cuttings of Pinus massoniana

  • In order to improve quality of Pinus massoniana spike and promote cutting rooting rate, calculating spike production after applying organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer on seed tree. Determining nutrients, related enzyme activity and endogenous hormone content. Results showed that fertilization could improve the pine scion stock scion yield and quality, especially the best effect of compound fertilizer. The number of spike, the average length and diameter of the strip increased 28%, 23% and 52% compared to CK. Soluble sugar and soluble protein content increased 46% and 72% compared to CK. GA, ZT, IAA and ABA were 100%, 262%, 67% and 123% higher than CK. The activities of SOD and CAT increased 123% and 338% compared to CK. The activity of IAAO decreased 26% compared to CK, and the callus rate and rooting rate were 86.30% and 50.93%.
