Antimicrobial Activity of the Endophytic Fungi from the Leaves of Vaccinium dunalianum

  • Using 10 plant pathogenic fungi as indicator strains, the antimicrobial activities of endophytic fungi isolated from the leaves of Vaccinium dunalianum were evaluated by the confrontation culture method and the growth rate method. Results showed that 10 endophytic strains had stronger antimicrobial activities against Typhla incarnate, Verticillium cinnabarium, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium solani and Alternaria brassicae, respectively. Among which, Aspergillus fumigatus VDL36 had a most significant broad-spectrum antimicrobial activities, with 83.26%, 68.82% and 68.57% of the pathogen inhibition rate on Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium solani and Vaccinium cinnabarium, respectively.
