The Inoculation Effect of Rhizobia on Vicia faba Growth and Its Disease Resistance with Root Rot

  • By confront culture on plate and pot experience, Vicia faba was taken as material to investigate the inoculation effect of Rhizobia on the growth of Ⅴ.faba and its disease resistance on root rot.The confront culture results show that SWFU55-1, SWFU55-2, SWFU48-1 inhibited the growth of XM20 in different levels, the bacteriostatic rates were 55%, 38% and 40%, respectively.Inoculation pot experiments show that Rhizobia had a significant promoting effect on the growth of Ⅴ.faba.Effect analysis show that SWFU48-1 > SWFU55-1 > SWFU55-2 > CK > XM20 inoculation group on the average crown width, average tiller number, average nodule number, average pod number and nitrogen content. The resistance evaluation results also show that SWFU48-1 (relative control effect is 49.49%) > SWFU55-1 (relative control effect is 20.36%) > SWFU55-2 (relative control effect is 7.73%).SWFU55-1, SWFU55-2, SWFU48-1 have a certain antagonism on XM20, which has a significant promoting effect on the growth of Ⅴ.faba, Rhizobia inoculation can effectively improve the disease resistance of Ⅴ.faba, reduce the ratio of leaf blackened, decrease the damage of the disease degree.
