Advances in Insect Resistance of Forest Trees

  • Chinese artificial forest plantation area is large, and pests are a serious threat to forest cultivation. Insect resistance research is particularly important. Through data review and analysis, from the definition of forest pest resistance, identification methods, physical and chemical mechanisms of insect resistance, types of insect-resistant induction and signal transduction, transgenic insect resistance, etc., the research progress of forest pest resistance was systematically expounded. The research status of forest pest resistance mechanisms at home and abroad is reviewed. Forest tree insect resistance is the accumulation and synergistic effect of various defense mechanisms. It is a combination of chemical and physical defense methods. External factors such as mechanical damage and insect pests can also induce induced defense. These effects combine to cope with insect damage.
