Review on Fire-resistant Performance of Cross-laminated Timber (CLT)

The current research status of the fire performance of CLT is introduced by data analysis. This study focuses on the fire performances and mechanical properties of CLT, when the influence factors such as charring rate, adhesive, ply configuration, loading condition are changing. It is proposed that the study of the changes of physical and mechanical properties of CLT under fire conditions should be focused. We can also apply some new materials to the CLT construction, and establish accurate computer mechanics models for CLT, to predict the fire performances and physical properties of the CLT under different conditions perfectly.
