Abstract
Based on the identification of liverworts specimens collected in Guizhou Chishui Alsophila Natural Reserve, 144 species belonging to 25 families and 42 genera were found for liverworts. Radulaceae, Cephaloziaceae, Geocalycaceae, Calypogeiaceae, Lejeuneaceae, Jungermanniaceae and Lepidoziaceae are the predominant families in this region; there are 7 dominant genera such as Radula, Cephalozia, Heteroscyphus, Marchantia, Calypogeia, and Jungermannia, Bazzania; the dominant is Epilithic, reached 70.14% of all species, followed by Epigaeus, the distribution of the species accounted for 39.58% of all species; on the tree liverworts plant occupies certain proportion, 27.78%; on the leaves liverworts plant occupies certain proportion, 6.94%; humus of few liverworts plant species, accounted for only 6.25%; The geographical elements are complex, 13 type of the flora in this region were recognized, the East Asian elements is dominant, accounting for about 27.78% respectively, the proportion of Tropical Asian elements was 20.83% and it is second, the proportion of Endemic to China was 7.64%.
