A DPSIR Model Based Assessment of Land Ecological Security in Yunnan Province

  • Taking 129 counties (cities or districts) in Yunnan Province as the study area, based on the statistical data and vector data (2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2015), the evaluation system is constructed by using the improved DPSIR model, and the entropy weight method is used to determine the weight of indexes, and the comprehensive value of regional land ecological security was calculated by the comprehensive security index model. The study results are as follows: Change in time, from 2000 to 2015, the overall value of land ecological security increased year by year. Among them, the comprehensive value of land ecological security in 126 counties (cities, districts) showed an upward trend, the main reason is that the 2 variables of driving force and response increase rapidly, and Guandu District, Xishan District, and Hongta District decreased. The comprehensive dynamic degree increased at first and then decreased, indicating that the comprehensive impact of human activities on land ecological security showed a downward trend. Spatial differences, from 2000 to 2015, the ecological security level of land in Northeast Yunnan, Northwest Yunnan, Southwest Yunnan, and the borders of southeastern Yunnan increased from critical safety (Ⅳ) to safer (Ⅲ) or safe (Ⅱ), most areas of central Yunnan have developed from safer (Ⅲ) to safe (Ⅱ), and the areas around Kunming have evolved to ideal safe (Ⅰ). The overall situation of land ecological security in Yunnan Province is centered on Kunming and developing towards Qujing, Yuxi, Honghe, Chuxiong and Dali.
