Abstract
To screen out fungi that produce pigments, a natural red pigment-producing fungus YLHT−2A was isolated from walnut branch by tissue separation method. The strain was identified by morphology and ITS molecular series analysis, and biological characteristics of strain YLHT−2A were studied. The findings indicated that the strain YLHT−2A was identified as Chaetomium aureum. The optimal medium of the strain was optimized as PDA medium by experiments, and the optimum culture conditions were 30 ℃, 24 h darkness, pH 10.
