Preliminary Study on Physiological Response of 4 Wild Lily Species Under Salt-alkali Stress

  • In order to find out the saline-alkali tolerance ability of different wild lily species, Lilium sargentiae, L.dauricum, L.sulphureum, L.leucanthum as materials. The effects of different concentrations of NaCl and NaHCO3 mixed solution on the growth and related physio-biochemical indexes of lily species were studied. The results showed that the content of chlorophyll of the 4 wild lily species decreased with the increase of treatment concentration, Pro and relative electrical conductivity increased gradually; the content of MDA, soluble sugar and SOD activity increased first and then decreased; the content of soluble protein did not change significantly. The order of saline-alkali tolerance of 4 wild lily species was: L. sulphureum>L. sargentiae>L. dauricum>L. leucanthum.
