Abstract
In this study, we studied the effects of Bx−apa−2 and Bx−apm−2 genes by feeding nematodes with the transgenic−expressing−dsRNA fungi. The results showed that the pine wood nematodes could persistently interfered by feeding and led to significantly down−regulate for target genes. By interfering Bx−apa−2 gene, nematode showed a relative thinner and smaller phenotype. By interfering the Bx−apm−2 gene, female nematodes were also showed a relative thinner and smaller phenotype, while the males showed a relative shorter and thicker phenotype. In Bx−apa−2 and Bx−apm−2 double−gene interferences group, the phenotype was more significant. In conclusion, for the nematodes, we further proved the interference effects of fungus−mediated RNAi on its gene expression, and observed significantly phenotypes changes as well.
