Abstract
Based on the collection of climate data from 22 national reference weather stations in Fujian Province from 1961 to 2018, use linear tendency estimation, rescaled range analysis, Mann−Kendall mutation test, Kriging interpolation, sensitivity analysis and other methods to analyze the characteristics of temporal and spatial changes and the relationship with other meteorological factors of relative humidity in Fujian Province. The results show that the average relative humidity in Fujian Province is 79.44%, showing a downward trend as a whole, with a decline rate of 0.57%/10 a. The changing trends of 4 seasons are consistent with the inter-annual changing trend, with the fastest in spring and the slowest in winter. The relative humidity in Fujian Province has long-term correlation and persistence, it will also show a downward trend for some time in the future, with the strongest persistence in spring. The series of annual average relative humidity showed a significant decrease in 2003. The spatial distribution pattern of relative humidity in Fujian Province is southwest−northeast type, roughly showing the characteristics of being small in the southwest and northeast, and large in the middle. It is mainly affected by the average temperature and sunshine hours, and decreases as the average temperature and sunshine hours increase.
