Abstract
The ethyl acetate fraction derived from EtOH extract of Camellia fascicularis was separated and purified by macroporous resin D101, silica gel, MCI, Sephadex LH−20 and HPLC. Then the structures of obtained compounds were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral data. The results showed that 17 compounds were isolated from C. fascicularis and identified as loliolide (1), dehydrovomifoliol (2), chakyunglupulin A (3), syringaldehyde (4), umbelliferone (5), 1H-indole-3-carboxaldehyde (6), coumarin (7), chlorogenic acid (8) p-hydroxycinnamic acid (9), methyl gallate (10), gallic acid (11), epicatechin (12), catechin (13), kaempferol (14), apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (15), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucoside (16), and isovitexin (17). Compounds 1−17 were first isolated from the leaves of C. fascicularis. Compound 3 was first isolated from the genus Camellia.
