Abstract
Five main varieties of rubber trees produced by Jinfu farm in the experimental field of Danzhou Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences in Hainan Province were used as test materials to carry out daytime rubber tapping operation, and the differences in rubber yield, physiological parameters and quality indexes under the two types of rubber tapping were analyzed with traditional night rubber tapping as the control. The results showed that the yields of fresh rubber and dry rubber in the five varieties of daytime rubber tapping increased, the content of dry rubber decreased, the content of mercaptan and magnesium ions in physiological parameters decreased, the content of inorganic phosphorus in Reyan 73397 increased, and the content of sucrose in Reken 523 increased, while the rest decreased. The trend of quality index varied among different varieties. The two-way analysis of variance showed that the yield of fresh rubber and dry rubber was significantly affected by variety and tapping time, and the interaction between the two was not significant. The dry rubber content was significantly affected by the tapping time, but the influence of variety and the interaction between the two were not significant. Physiological parameters were affected by the variety and tapping time, and the level of difference varied. From the production level to obtain higher yield and dry rubber content as the primary purpose, this study considered that the variety suitable for the daytime rubber tapping mode in Danzhou, Hainan Province was Reyan 73397.
