  • Centering on the development of smart forestry, this paper introduces the achievements of the Precision Forestry Team at Beijing Forestry University in the field of smart forestry. The following aspects are discussed: Constructing a precise forest management and monitoring system integrating multiple cutting - edge technologies. By using technologies such as "Internet +" and 3S, scientific planning and dynamic management of forest resources from the national level to forest sub - compartments are realized, thus creating a new model of precision forestry. Developing a series of intelligent forestry supervision equipment and observation methods to enhance the intelligence and accuracy of forestry observation. Based on multi - source data, establishing prediction, forecasting and inversion models of forest trees and site environments, which cover key indicators such as forest carbon sinks and their conversion models, providing a quantitative basis for forest resource assessment and management. Creating a smart forest fire prevention and intelligent supervision platform to achieve intelligent forest fire prevention and efficient management of forestry resources. This also expands social services and industrial cooperation, and promotes the transformation of forestry scientific and technological achievements. The innovative achievements of this research in the field of smart forestry have brought all - around changes to the forestry industry.
