Birds Survey and Bird Strike Control Around Baoshan Airport

The species and quantity of the birds flying around Baoshan airport were studied by routine survey method during July 26-28 and November 16-20 of 2006. Totally, 57 bird species were recorded in the paper. Integrated with the corresponding literature, the time of the birds occurrence, the individual weight, the hazard degree and quantity status of the birds happening around Baoshan airport were classified to find out the rule for the birds activities and the seasonal distribution and the integrated bird management proposals were put forward.
