Comparative Experiment with Seedling Breeding Substrates for Dracaena cambodiana

  • A seedling breeding substrate experiment was conducted with Dracaena cambodiana in the nursery of Forestry Institute of Pu’er Municipality to study on the approaches making better use of the resource and scientific cultivation and afforestation with D. cambodiana species. The experiment showed that the substrates composed of burnt soil + red soil, sawdust + bark of firewood + cattle dung were fit for D. cambodiana seedling breeding, and should be applied extensively in seedling production in Pu’er Municipality.
