Determination of Microelements in Jatropha curcas Seeds Collected from Different Localities of Yunnan by ICPOES

HNO3HClO4 method was applied to digest samples and the contents of essential elements in Jatropha Curcas seeds collected from different localities in Yunnan Province were determined by ICPOES.The results showed that the contents of four trace elements in the J.curcas seeds were: Fe 35-134 μg/g, Cu 26-37 μg/g, Zn 54-126 μg/g, Mn 15-41 μg/g.The other elements contained in J.curcas seeds were Ca 5331-7428μg/g, Mg 9 909-11 817 μg/g, K 12735-14503μg/g, P 17240-19239μg/g.It was indicated that the J.curcas seeds contained plentiful of essential elements.
