Inhibition Effect of Eight Fungicides Against Alternaria maliPathogen of Apple Alternaria Leaf Spots

  • Inhibition effect of Prochloraz EC and other seven fungicides against the pathogenic fungus, Alternaria mali, which is known to be the pathogen of apple alternaria leaf spots, were assessed by mycelial growth rate method. The indoor measurement results showed that the inhibition rate of three fungicides was all over 90%, including 45% Prochloraz EC, 25% Prochloraz EC and 12% Bantui WP, which was specifically higher than that of 50% tuzet wettable powder and other four fungicides. The inhibition effect of carbendazol wettable powder was 585%, which was the lowest among the eight fungicides experimented.
