Study on Treating Avian Coccidiosis with Eupatorium adenophorum

The experiments with alcohol extracted substance from the flower organ and extracts obtained from Eupatorium adenophorum leaves by 8 kinds of extractants and the leaf powder were carried out to treat avian coccidiosis.The results of the experiments showed that each of the tested extract had certain effect on controlling avian coccidiosis, among those the curative effect of alcohol extracted substance from the flower and isopropanol and acetone extracts from the leaf and the leaf powder were better than Diclazuril as CK.The experiment results also showed that the compatibilities of different leaf extracts could not improve the curative effect on avian coccidiosis.
