Bibliometrical Study on Castanopsis kawakamii

Based on 122 pieces of literatures on Castanopsis kawakamii searched from the CNKI database from 1979 to August 2009，this paper made a statistical analysis on the distribution of the research fields, publication time, journal categories, research areas and the number of authors.The results indicated that C.kawakamii had been widely studied, and the research fields mainly covered population ecology, community ecology, ecosystem ecology and others.6803% of the research papers were published in core journals, whereas the researches were mainly concentrated in Fujian Province and 9590% of the studies were from the certain regions, It was showed that more related studies were conducted in cooperative way and 7131% of the literatures were implemented by coauthors.
